dc.description.abstractAbstract:Lifetimeemploymentofspecialistsinphysicaleducationandsportispossibleonlyundertheconditionsofenhancingtheirprofessionalself-development,whoseessentialcomponentisinnovativeactivity.Thearticleaimstoidentifythecurrentlevelofinnovationofprofessionalactivitiesofspecialistsinphysicaleducationandsport.Itisalsoessentialtodeterminethemaincharacteristicsoftheinnovationindicatorduringprofessionalself-developmentofspecialistsinphysicaleducationandsport.Theselectedpsychodiagnosticmethodshavemadeitpossibletodiagnosespecialistsinphysicaleducationandsportandrevealthemaincharacteristicsoftheinnovationindicator,namely,average,quadraticdeviation,asymmetryandexcess.Thepaperalsousedfollowingmethodologies:self-efficacydiagnosis,thelevelofsubjectivecontrolandthestyleofresponsetochanges.Theresearchsamplecomprisedofspecialistsinphysicaleducationandsportofdifferentagegroups,withdifferentexperienceandqualificationdegree.Intotal,thestudyinvolved209participants.Thetotaldispersionoftheselectedfactorsfortheresearchgroupswithaprevailingconservativestyleisapproximately61%.Thedevelopmentofcapabilityforinnovationinspecialistsinphysicaleducationandsportinvolvesenhancingtheirpsychologicalqualitiessuchasparticularsensitivitytoprofessionalchanges,readinesstotakerisksandberesponsibleforpossiblefailures,independentjudgmentwhiletakingprofessionaldecisions,focusonpersonalandprofessionalself-development,willingnesstosearchfornewprofessionalideas.uk_UA
