Stages of development of the modern Olympic movement in accordance with the author's program of complex-factual periodization

Abstract

Determining the stages of development of the Olympic movement is an urgent scientific problem. System-forming factors of the genesis of the Olympic movement in the first half of the twentieth century there are personal and socio-cultural (I stage, 1894-1914) and political and organizational (II stage, 1919-1939). The Olympic movement, despite its natural adaptation to social change, is a factor influencing the development trends of modern society. Визначення етапності розвитку олімпійського руху є актуальною науковою проблемою. Системоутворювальними чинниками ґенези олімпійського руху в першій половині ХХ ст. є особистісні та соціально-культурні (І етап, 1894-1914 рр.) та політичні й організаційні (ІІ етап, 1919-1939 рр.). Олімпійський рух, незважаючи на природну адаптацію до суспільних змін, є чинником впливу на тенденції розвитку сучасного суспільства.
