Scales for estimation of a somatic health. Part 4. Errors of the scales

Abstract

A purpose of this research was to determine errors of scales for estimation of a somatic health. Mathematical modelling, optimisation methods, and interpolation models were applied. It was calculated that an average value of relative errors in the calculation of the parameters: for the body mass index - 0.9%, the vital index - 1.1%, the power index - 0.3%, the simplified version of Robinson's index - 1.2%, and for the recovery time of the pulse after load - 2.5%. The proposed analytical method can be considered completely acceptable during the evaluation of the physical health.
